Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association has been associated with development of the country nationwide, evolving the development of economic, social and civil sectors as well as assuring the people’s ownership of housing facilities.
In addition MCEA set up cement factories for supply of cement for construction programmes, established Industrial zones for development of industries and also continuously endeavoured in the construction projects for the development of Nay Pyi Taw, establishment of new satellite towns, hotels, settlements, highways, the New Yadanarbon City development, High Rise Building project in Yangon. Public Infrastructures for states and Regions and construction programmes for special Economic Zones. (Thilawa Special Economic Zones, Dawel Special Economic Zones)
The Myanmar construction Entrepreneurs Association was established in 1996 and became a civil society social association under order No(1803) dated of the (20-8-1998) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. It was first established with (150) members and at present there are (1650) members. The office of the Association during the time of its establishment in 7 Nov: 1996 was 216/222 Bo Myat Tun Road, Bo Myat Tun Housing Estate, Pazundaung Township.
In the year 2000, with the permission of the Government , the (Department of Human Settlement & Housing Development) leased a plot of land measuring, 1.92 Acres, situated at the junction of the Thuwunna to the association MCEA’s new office was built on that plot, based on modern architectural design, complete with landscaping. It was completed by the end of the year (2001) and the new office was opened on 10th of February 2002 with great celebrations. A Multi – purpose Hall was later established. The functions of the Association is being carried out by (36) executive committee members.
Relation which other Organization
We related so many companies, organizations of economy and business from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China and Korea. We always discuss and meet local companies and business.
